Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Crisp, even cuts on a schedule that fits your yard — St. Augustine, Bermuda, or Zoysia, cut at the right height for a North Texas summer.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing with sharp blades. We change cut height by season so St. Augustine doesn’t scalp in July and Bermuda doesn’t fry by August. Edged at every visit, walks and drives blown clean before we leave the curb.

Starts at $45 · per visit

  • Edging & Trimming

Clean, deliberate edges along beds, walks, and drives — plus string-trim around fences, posts, and trees.

Power-edged borders that stay sharp the full week. Careful trim work around mailboxes, A/C units, and trees the mower can’t reach. Final pass with the blower so nothing carries to the patio or street.

  • Garden Bed Care

Hand-weed beds, refresh mulch, prune perennials at the right time, and keep the roses, irises, and salvia looking like someone tends them — because someone does.

This is the half of “Lawn & Garden” most crews skip. Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask), seasonal pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar, and a fresh mulch top-up every spring and fall to hold moisture through a Texas summer and suppress what wants to come up.

  • Seasonal Planting

Spring annuals, summer perennials, fall color, and the right shrubs for North Texas clay — sourced from the nursery on Main Street.

We plant from our own nursery, which means we know the plant before it goes in your yard. Knockout roses, Texas sage, lantana, salvia, hostas, hollies, crepe myrtles — picked for what does well in Rowlett clay and gets through August without a fuss.

  • Spring & Fall Cleanups

The big two — leaves, sticks, and dead growth out; mulch, edges, and beds reset for the season.

A full-property reset twice a year. Spring: cut back perennials, remove winter debris, edge beds, refresh mulch. Fall: bag leaves, blow out beds and gutters from the ground, cut back what wants cutting, prep the lawn for dormancy.

  • Sprinkler Repair & Install

Spring start-up, summer adjustments, fall blow-out — leak repairs, controller programming, and the head you keep meaning to call about.

Licensed sprinkler work since 1978. Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming, and a walk-through with you to make sure every zone is hitting what it should — not the driveway.

Starts at $125 · per visit

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered mulch (or bagged, your call), hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it.

  • Stone Patios & Walkways

Hardscape that lasts — proper base, polymeric sand, edges that stay put through Texas summers and Lake Ray Hubbard storms.

Concrete pavers and natural stone, set on compacted base with a geotextile underlayment. We do the boring foundational work right so the surface stays level a decade later — and we have done a lot of them around the lake.

Starts at $1800 · per visit

  • Sod & Hydro-Seeding

Bermuda, St. Augustine, or Zoysia — graded, laid, rolled. Hydro-seeding for the back forty or a fresh build pad.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks. Hydro-seeding available for larger lots and new construction — we have been doing it since long before it was on YouTube.

Starts at $750 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
